We all experience physical pain on some level at various times in our lives; however, there are those of us who live with chronic pain on a day-by-day basis. How can we cope with, control, and manage the pain without over using medications? There are several techniques, depending on the root cause of the source of the pain. Some of the ways we treat pain is with clinical hypnosis, self-hypnosis, kinesiology, and essential oils. All of these therapeutic methods, singularly and mixed, have proven successful in helping our clients overcome, live with, and manage their pain, whether from Temporomandibular Joint Syndrome (TMJ), Cancer, Surgery, Burn Injuries, Fibromyalgia, Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), and many other pain-related illnesses and disorders. Studies have indicated that hypnosis has been so effective for pain control and management that it can be used during surgical or clinical techniques for reduction of pain and anxiety during painful procedure in patients, including children and adolescents with cancer. My own experience with leg cramp pain has led me to using just one drop of Cypress Essential Oil on my legs at night. I have a client who uses this same essential oil therapy for her leg cramp pain, as well.
I broke my back five years ago, and occasionally experience pain after physical activity. I mix one drop each of Wintergreen Essential oil and Cypress Essential Oil, and feel relief within just a couple of minutes. I swear by this therapy. You can find the pure therapeutic essential oils at https://www.youngliving.org/brownrose.
For fibromyalgia and chronic pain, I highly recommend hypnotherapy. If you cannot do a personal consult, I have a self-help hypnotherapy method available. You can contact me at [email protected].
I am always interested in how you control and manage your pain, as there is no one perfect remedy.
